Fortnite’s Save the World finally leaves early access, no plans to go free to play

Fortnite is dropping its early entry label, Epic Games announced on Tuesday, as a part of a change to the sport’s unique survival mode, Save the World.

More importantly, Epic mentioned that it’s reversing plans to make Save the World free to play, and can decelerate improvement of the mode, which has lengthy been overshadowed by Fortnite’s battle royale element. Save the World may also “no longer be able to support all upcoming Fortnite Battle Royale cosmetic purchases, but your existing library of cosmetics will continue to function in both modes.”

Fortnite’s Save the World mode is getting a brand new characteristic referred to as Ventures, a “season-long excursion that takes place in a seasonal zone with new and unique modifiers to tackle.” Each seasonal Venture can have new challenges the place gamers can earn seasonal expertise and seasonal rewards.
