Over the weekend, a screenshot purportedly from a deleted Amazon itemizing for Red Dead Redemption: The Outlaws Collection began making rounds on-line. Apparently, the rumored assortment features a remake of Red Dead Redemption and an enhanced model of Red Dead Redemption 2 for the PlayStation four and 5, and Xbox One and Series X/S. Some unsuspecting souls (and publications) fell for the screenshot, but it surely’s faux.
While we couldn’t determine the precise supply of the screenshot, it was first posted on Twitter by Gaming Leaks & Rumors.

For starters, the outline doesn’t learn like official info. Additionally, there are a selection of inconsistencies within the itemizing, like the discharge date and returns date (the sport apparently may be returned earlier than it’s even out). As identified by Kotaku’s Zack Zwiezen, the duvet picture is a photoshop job that took bits and items from completely different artworks and slapped it onto one picture.
No one sharing the screenshot appears to have offered a hyperlink for the deleted itemizing both, which might have made it straightforward to run a search by way of Google for a cached web page, and/or pull up an internet archive entry.
As is the case with most Rockstar rumors, we’re submitting this as a faux. However, if the developer finally ends up revealing the “collection” and we’re confirmed mistaken, we’ll fortunately right ourselves. Don’t maintain your breath.
