In Bowser’s Fury, Bowser emerges from the water consistently to make things a bit harder for you as you collect Cat Shines. You can get rid of him using a few different tactics, and in this guide we’ll show you how.
Beat him up
Depending on your progress, you may be able to grab the Giga Cat Bell that begins to meow and shine when Fury Bowser emerges. Walk up to the Giga Cat Bell, turn into Giga Cat Mario, and give Fury Bowser a good whooping.
Collect a Cat Shine
If the Giga Cat Bell isn’t available (or if you just don’t feel like fighting him), you can also collect a Cat Shine. Fury Bowser will take some damage, get annoyed from the light, and he’ll leave.
Use any of the Cat Shines you get from breaking Fury Bowser blocks, as they’re easy to grab when Bowser is actively stomping around.
Wait him out
This is the worst option, but if you just keep dodging his attacks, Fury Bowser will eventually leave. Based on our experience, he seems to leave faster if you’re in zones where it’s harder for him to hit you. Look for structures that protect you, such as those on Clawswipe Colosseum and Slipskate Slope.
