The Director’s Guild of Canada confirmed that the HBO TV present adaptation of The Last of Us will start filming in 2021. Production will begin in Calgary in July 2021 and finish in June 2022. The Premier of Alberta commented on the manufacturing for The Last of Us‘ TV show during a Facebook livestream. The Premier stated, “[The production] will be the largest ever, I believe, film or television production in Canadian history.” This will be beneficial to the Canadian province’s economic system, as confirmed by the press secretary for Jobs, Economy, and Innovation.

As for actors, The Last of Us TV present will star Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie. People who’ve seen the Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian will acknowledge Pascal because the lead in that present. Others will acknowledge Ramsey from HBO’s Game of Thrones, as she performed Lyanna Mormont.

Director of the sport sequence Neil Druckman will write and govt produce the HBO adaptation together with Craig Mazin. Additionally, Mazin created HBO’s Chernobyl sequence and can be writing the Borderlands movie. In an interview with BBC Radio, Mazin reassured followers that the upcoming adaptation will “enhance” the sport’s story. Mazin additionally mentioned that he’s a fan of the video games.
