The final DLC pack for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth launched this week, and followers have flocked to strive it. Over 60,000 concurrent players have been recorded, coming near the indie game‘s years previous document.

Courtesy of SteamDB, on the time of writing, 60,780 players have been taking part in the horror game directly, simply 10,000 quick of the all-time document of 70,232, set again in 2015. The heightened curiosity is pushed by The Binding of Isaac: Repentance, the ultimate enlargement for the roguelike game, which guarantees “more features, improvements and new secrets, too many secrets, than most games would include in an official sequel.”

500 hours of new gameplay is included, making it the “ultimate edition” of Isaac’s adventures. Over 5,000 new rooms, 100 new enemies, 25 new bosses, and over 130 new gadgets are among the many additions. Repentance began life as a mod, The Binding of Isaac: Antibirth, and creator Edmund McMillen revered it a lot, he determined to work with the modding crew to combine it into the action-adventure game correctly as Isaac’s swansong.
