The Pokémon Company is opening a nature-based theme park in Tokyo, Japan, the corporate introduced Wednesday. Called Pokémon Wonder, the park is primarily a means for guests to seek for Pokémon within the real-world forest. People will probably be ready to full two completely different “courses” the place they’ll spot hidden Pokémon within the wild — like a real-life Pokémon Snap.
Pokémon Wonder will probably be open from July 17 to Aug. 3, 2022, according to Kotaku.
The hidden Pokémon are all created from pure supplies; in a video accompanying the news release, The Pokémon Company confirmed off a number of the creation course of. There’s a Metapod woven from a palm leaf, an Omanyte carved from stone, and a Hoothoot sculpted from wooden. Clues will lead guests to the Pokémon within the space.
There will probably be “more than 50” varieties of Pokémon hidden throughout the park, together with an Oddish that appears disturbingly practical, à la the Detective Pikachu film. Imagine peeking right into a bush and seeing these beady black eyes staring again at you.
Anyway, benefit from the park!
