In a current interview with Famitsu, Nihon Falcom’s CEO Toshihiro Kondo expressed his curiosity in bringing The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki to the PS5 and Nintendo Switch. [Thanks, Ryokutya.]
Kondo additionally revealed that Kuro no Kiseki is not going to have a serious title replace. The earlier entry, Hajimari no Kiseki, acquired the post-release Beyond the Reverie replace in October 2020. The growth staff will as a substitute transfer straight in the direction of the subsequent title in the Trails collection.
Here are a few of the highlights from Famitsu‘s interview with Toshihiro Kondo:
- “There is nothing tangible I can tell you about the PS5 and Switch versions of Kuro no Kiseki, but I want to do them in the future. There have been requests for a PS5 version coming from outside Japan. The Switch has a complete lineup of Falcom’s titles.”
- “There will be no major updates like Beyond the Reverie because we will immediately enter development for the next Trails title.”
- “I feel like the Republic Arc will not end with just two titles.”
Nihon Falcom will launch The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki for PlayStation 4 in Japan on September 30, 2021. Clouded Leopard Entertainment will localize the game into Traditional Chinese and Korean and launch it in East Asia on February 10, 2022. An English localization for this title has but to seem.
