As a part of the Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXXVII detailing the upcoming patch, Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida confirmed off a number of the designs for the brand new weapons and kit. The weapons are all previous weapon design contest winners. Meanwhile, the gear idea artwork shared are ones designed by the event staff.
Yoshida displayed the weapon designs by holding up print outs to the digicam for us to see. Global Community Producer Toshio “Foxclon” Murouchi assisted and provided further commentary. Among them are an umbrella for the Blue Mage and an infinite, mechanized pizza cutter.
