The team at Wales Interactive has released a spooky new trailer for Maid of Sker, a horror game based on Welsh folklore and set in Sker House, a real hotel on the Welsh countryside, in 1898. This first-person survival-horror title is based on the legend of Elisabeth Williams, a girl who was locked in her room by her father and is said to be one of two ghosts that haunt Sker House to this day. Her story was immortalized in the 1872 R.D. Blackmore novel, The Maid of Sker.
Monster Cash There's just no slowing down Monster Hunter: World from its continued success. Already the best-selling Capcom release of all time, the publisher has also announced that its 2019 expansion Iceborne has just passed the five million sales mark.
Released back in September on PS4 and Xbox One, before arriving on PC a little later in January, Iceborne adds snowy tundras, new gear and monstrous new prey to the already expansive Monster Hunter: World map. Bringing devastating creatures such as the Stygian Zinogre, Furious Rajang and Safi'jiiva, Iceborne is a true test of even the most hardened hunter's abilities. And given its frosty aesthetic, it also made a snug fit for crossovers with Guerilla Games' Horizon Zero Dawn.
While the pandemic is affecting working conditions and could result in delays, the groups responsible for game ratings in the United States and Europe are still at work. Both the United State’s Entertainment Software Rating Board and the members of Europe’s Interactive Software Federation of Europe ratings board for the Pan European Game Information ratings confirmed the members responsible for ESRB and PEGI ratings are working from home.
